On a typical week day after Ijeome husband returned home, he did what he does everyday, fill the generator with fuel. Unfortunately what was a normal day turned out to be a tragedy as while he was at the generator there was an explosion. Her husband was badly burnt by the explosion & subsequent fire.
He spent a long time in hospital but unfortunately succumb to his injuries & died. Ijeoma is now a single mother of six children & has to support the whole family herself. To make matters even worse one of her children is an autistic child.
Although she does this all alone, Ijeome does an amazing job at attending to her family with the little that she has and will benefit greatly from the assistance that Airtel Touching Lives will provide.
